IEEE Denver Large Language Models Study Group
- Mission:
- Study the Machine Learning foundations of the current Large Language Models, get understanding of current implementations, and explore possible aapplications
- Time Horizon:
- One Year
- Main Activities:
- The group will have a goal to explore: 1. A basic ML background of current LLM models (study of the original research articles to understand models, architectures, and ML techniques used in current LLMs) 2. An overview of the current tools and applications (with a distinctive focus on privacy) 3. Possible uses for LLMs within IEEE (how LLMs can benefit IEEE’s volunteer activities - managing the existing information - guidelines, bylaws - with a goal to keep necessary volunteers' time investment minimal)
