IEEE Resilient Power Systems & Emergency Preparedness (RPSEP) Group

Mission:
The IEEE Resilient Power Systems & Emergency Preparedness (RPSEP) Group fosters innovation and collaboration around autonomous, island-capable, and mobile energy systems that improve grid resilience and civil protection. We bring together engineers, researchers, and practitioners to explore microgrids, vehicle-to-load (V2L), emergency energy supply, mobile IT infrastructure, and decentralized preparedness strategies. Our focus is on bridging theory and practice to enhance regional and household-level autonomy during grid failures, natural disasters, and prolonged outages.
Time Horizon:
More Than Two Years
