- Mission:
- The IEEE Bulgaria AI-Varna Group is dedicated to fostering collaboration among school and university students, their teachers, and mentors from both academia and industry. Our mission is to promote educational events and joint research, technology, and development (RTD) initiatives that advance professional skills and expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) technology. We strive to bridge generations of professionals, facilitating knowledge exchange and supporting innovation, research, and technological development. By nurturing an active community of professionals, we aim to empower them to network, collaborate, teach, learn, share, and contribute to the progress of AI technology.

- Main Activities:
- • Teaching AI technology at the high school level (including high school students and schoolteachers) as well as at the academic level (undergraduate and graduate students, lifelong learning for teachers and IT professionals). • Mentoring and coaching programs promoting innovation, RTD skills and applications of AI technology in interdisciplinary fields with focus on robotics, cybersecurity, ecology, healthcare and others • Organizing collaboration, competitions and training events (AI challenges, hackathons, seminars, webinars, and guest lectures), workshops and hands-on sessions • Collaborations with other organizations, such as other IEEE Computer Society, IEEE Signal Processing Society, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society and IEEE Education Society • Community-building activities and extending the scale of member activity • Proliferation of Ethics and responsible AI principles and good practices
