Mission:
The Local Cybersecurity Group in Poland is dedicated to building a secure and resilient digital society through education, research, and collaboration. Our mission is to empower students, academics, professionals, and the broader community with practical cybersecurity knowledge and skills to address modern digital threats. We strive to promote awareness of online safety, data protection, and ethical technology use, emphasizing the growing importance of digital identity protection, biometric authentication, and KYC (Know Your Customer) standards in modern cybersecurity frameworks. By organizing workshops, Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, lectures, and partnerships with industry experts, we aim to bridge academic knowledge with real-world cybersecurity challenges. Our group fosters exploration in areas such as AI in security, cryptography, threat intelligence, biometrics, fingerprint-based security systems, and identity management. Together, we cultivate a new generation of cybersecurity leaders committed to safeguarding digital transformation and innovation in Poland and beyond.

Main Activities:
Workshops and hands-on cybersecurity training, CTF competitions and hackathons, guest lectures and expert talks, research and innovation projects in biometrics, fingerprint authentication, KYC and identity management, awareness campaigns on digital safety and privacy, and collaboration with industry, academia, and public institutions.
