- The FRWRD Innovation Sandbox is the ultimate expression of the organization's conviction: a student-operated environment where live problem sets and research challenges become the curriculum, and where the work itself is the measure of growth. Inspired by MIT Media Lab's conviction that the most important discoveries happen at the intersection of disciplines, and YCombinator's belief that the fastest way to learn is to build something real, the Sandbox operates on a single premise: “The best preparation for an uncertain future is to navigate real uncertainty. With real partners, real stakes, and the support of a community of builders who are doing the same."
