Main Activities:
The IEEE Philippine Section Entrepreneurship Group will focus on industry-connected initiatives that bridge students, researchers, and practitioners in emerging technologies. Our main activities include: - Co-hosting technology and manufacturing innovation forums, plant visits, and tech talks with companies to showcase real-world applications of emerging technologies in the Philippine context. - Organizing startup, venture-building, and hackathon-style programs where industry partners bring actual problem statements from tech and manufacturing, and student teams prototype commercially viable solutions. - Running mentorship circles and office-hour clinics with professionals from technology, semiconductor, electronics, and advanced manufacturing firms to support business model development, go-to-market strategy, and technology commercialization. - Facilitating collaboration agreements, pilot projects, and internships between IEEE student members and partner companies to accelerate adoption and responsible scaling of emerging technologies in local industries.
