To serve as Uganda’s premier IEEE platform for technology entrepreneurship by cultivating innovators, founders, and future industry leaders through education, mentorship, industry collaboration, and startup support, enabling the development of scalable solutions that drive economic growth, sustainable development, and technological advancement.

Main Activities:
The IEEE Uganda Entrepreneurship Local Group will organize a focused set of high-impact activities to promote technology-driven entrepreneurship within Uganda’s innovation ecosystem. Planned core activities include: • Launch event and networking meetup to introduce the group and connect innovators, students, and industry stakeholders • Entrepreneurship and innovation workshops covering business model development, design thinking, and commercialization of engineering solutions • Founder talks and mentorship sessions featuring successful Ugandan entrepreneurs and industry leaders • Pitch sessions or demo days to showcase innovative projects and startups developed by students and young professionals Additional activities such as hackathons, collaborations with innovation hubs, and industry roundtables will be introduced progressively as the group grows.
