IEEE Croatia Entrepreneurship Group
- Mission:
- The group is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of entrepreneurs with strong R&D technical background (deep tech) capable of driving innovation-led economic growth at the section level. Our perspective is that technological excellence and entrepreneurial ambition are mutually reinforcing each other and the local group is committed to bring together engineering expertise and scientific education with the principles of venture creation, business model development, market strategy, and responsible leadership. Students and researchers are challenged to move beyond the boundaries of disciplinary expertise and develop the integrative design thinking and business goals to early stages of research and innovation, to carry it successfuly over the "valley of death" to minimum viable products, and provided with skills and oppotunities to enter the market, do the fundrising and perform scale-ups. By bridging the worlds of academia, industry, and public policy, the group positions itself as a catalytic force within the national innovation ecosystem and embeds it into IEEE international one — one that does not merely respond to the demands of the market but actively shapes the conditions under which new industries and knowledge-intensive enterprises emerge. Deep-tech researchers are prepared not only to launch and lead ventures of their own, but to assume strategic roles within established organizations, research institutions, and policy bodies where entrepreneurial thinking is increasingly essential to navigating technological disruption and global competitiveness. Through sustained partnerships with leading companies, investors, government agencies, and international academic networks, the group will strive s that its educational offer remains dynamically aligned with the evolving frontiers of technology, regulation, and humanity needs in general — contributing, in a measurable and enduring way, to the prosperity, resilience, and innovative capacity of the Section.

- - Pinpointing stakeholders of Croatian technical entrepreneurship ecosystem - Establishing and maintaining relations with local programs in technical entrepreneurship - Involvement in organization and conduction of existing entrepreneurship activities and establishing new programs and activities on behalf of IEEE - Promoting IEEE as an association in the ecosystem - Promoting IEEE opportunities for members in the context of entrepreneurship and technical support in general - Facilitating local stakeholders engagement in IEEE Entrepreneurship and IEEE R8 Entrepreneurship programs: ambassadors, events, startups, and more - Compile and provide local feedback of needs and best practices to IEEE
