IEEE Iraq Entrepreneurship Group

Mission:
To foster a vibrant culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the engineering and technology community in Iraq by empowering students, young professionals, and engineers to transform ideas into impactful ventures. The group is committed to providing mentorship, capacity-building programs, and access to global IEEE resources, while promoting collaboration between academia, industry, and startups. Through workshops, competitions, and networking platforms, the IEEE Iraq Entrepreneurship Group aims to develop entrepreneurial skills, support sustainable solutions, and contribute to economic growth and technological advancement in Iraq.

Main Activities:
Organizing entrepreneurship workshops and training programs (startup basics, business models, pitching, funding). Hosting innovation challenges, hackathons, and startup competitions. Providing mentorship programs connecting participants with industry experts and successful entrepreneurs. Facilitating networking events with startups, investors, and industry leaders. Supporting incubation and acceleration opportunities for promising ideas. Promoting collaboration between academia and industry. Delivering awareness sessions on entrepreneurship within IEEE communities. Encouraging participation in global IEEE entrepreneurship initiatives and programs.
