The IEEE Tunisia CyberSecurity Local Group brings together researchers, industry experts, public-sector leaders, entrepreneurs, and students to strengthen Tunisia’s cybersecurity capabilities. Our mission is to raise awareness, deliver practical training, foster applied research, and co-create innovative solutions that safeguard people, critical infrastructure, businesses, and national services.

Main Activities:
● Education & Skills Development – Workshops, bootcamps, and certification-prep sessions on cloud security, AI/ML security, OT/ICS protection, secure software development, and incident response. ● Innovation & Startups – Hackathons, pitching competitions, and mentoring to transform proofs-of-concept into viable cyber startups and market-ready products. ● Research & Standards – Collaborative applied research, white papers, and participation in IEEE standards and policy initiatives to turn technical advances into actionable best practices. ● Community & Outreach – Public awareness campaigns, student challenges, and inclusive initiatives in partnership with IEEE chapters and affinity groups. ● Expert Speaker Series – Panels and talks featuring leading Tunisian and international cybersecurity professionals. ● Hands-On Labs – Capture-the-Flag challenges, malware analysis sessions, IoT/OT hardening workshops, and instructor-led technical training days. ● Mentorship & Entrepreneurship Tracks – Pairing competition winners with investors, incubators, and networking platforms such as IEEE Collabratec. ● Policy & Strategy Roundtables – Dialogues on national cyber resilience, responsible AI in security, and supply chain protection for critical infrastructure.
